THRIFTY does NOT accept the use of a Debit/Check Card at this location.

In Puerto Rico, driving is on the right side of the road, in St. Thomas on the left side.

Vehicles may not be taken off of the island of Puerto Rico.

At airport locations the rental counter is located near the baggage claim area.

After signing the rental agreement the customer will be shuttled to the car parking area.

Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.

Flight information required on all rentals.

Renter must present a valid drivers license and credit card in own name at time of rental.

Renter must be 21 or older to rent economy to full size car, or minivan. Renters 21-24 are subject to a surcharge of USD 9.95/day.

Renter must be 25 or older to rent sports or specialty vehicles, and have held a valid drivers license for a minimum of 2 years.

Additional renters, excluding renters spouse, are subject to a surcharge of USD 5.95/day.

Local tax not applicable.

Airport Access fee 10 percent. (Aguadilla airport access fee is 11 percent.)

Vehicle Licensing Fee USD .95/day.

PPP (PERSONAL PROTECTION PLAN), USD 5.45 - 8.45/day.

LDW is Optional if:
1. Customer is paying with a credit card that
extends coverage options to PUERTO RICO
2. Renter presents verification of personal
insurance coverage at rental counter.

Personal insurance must be accompanied by a letter stating that the insurance policy will cover the rental car in Puerto Rico.

If neither stipulation is met customer will be required to purchase LDW, cost USD 14.95 - 21.95/day.

Optional Third Party Liability, cost USD 9.95/day. If LDW is declined customer is responsible for the full value of the vehicle and it
-
is MANDATORY for customer to purchase the Third Party Liability.

A deposit of USD $200.00, (minimum), to $750.00 plus the rental amount is required at time of rental.

Vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and should be returned full to avoid a locally determined refueling charge.

Pre-paid fuel options are available.
